Come along and celebrate with podcasting’s most reliably inconsistent pair of dorks. In other words, listen to them drone on about themselves for 90 minutes. There might even be a special guest or two, but no promises!
Crabb and Sales are celebrating the ten-year milestone with a return to Hamer Hall – scene of many Chat 10 hijinks. The on-stage re-enactment of Warnie’s 700th wicket. The live FaceTime call from stage to check in on Celia Pacquola’s babysitter… Luke McGregor. Come along (virtually) and celebrate with podcasting’s most reliably inconsistent pair of dorks.
Crabb and Sales love any opportunity to come to Perth. The food! The beaches! The excuse to turn their phones off for four hours on the plane from Sydney! And the book-loving pair has chipped out time in the diary to bring their ramshackle podcast Chat 10 Looks 3 to the Perth Concert Hall.
Ten years ago, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb adapted an obscure lyric from A Chorus Line to name their podcast Chat 10, Looks 3. Approximately sixty-five thousand polite explanations of this ridiculous name later, they have come to regret the impulse. But Leigh Sales bows to no one – NO ONE! – in her love of musical theatre, live performance and shimmying-about-on-stage, and Annabel Crabb bows to no-one in her creative pursuit of reasons to visit her home town.
Chat 10 Looks 3 meets the Australian Chamber Orchestra when Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales join Richard Tognetti and the ACO for an evening of music, laughter and revelations.
In her 25-year political reporting career, the Kitchen Cabinet creator and presenter has sampled every point in the culinary arc from canapes at the Lodge to the perilous pursuit of mud crabs in croc-infested waters with a mildly inebriated Senator, all the way down to the journo’s dinner of champions (two packets of Burger Rings at 11pm from the press gallery chip machine).

Canberrans! In this year of national self-examination, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb – approaching their ten-year anniversary of podcasting together at Chat 10 Looks 3 – now confront a terrible new truth. This is Brian Schmidt’s final Chat 10 Looks 3 show as ANU Vice-Chancellor.
Apple Isle, we are back! There's nothing this pair of charlatans enjoys more than a weekend browsing Salamanca Market, staying in a nice hotel and catching the ferry to MONA, all the while pretending to be "working" and "gathering material" for their show.
Chat 10 Looks 3 is back! Can we promise a competently executed, full bells-and-whistles experience? No. Can we promise an outstanding musical act worthy of previous occupants of the legendary Hamer Hall stage? Definitely not. Can we promise a deep dive into something completely esoteric and a few random meanders into topics such as the use of Mars Bars in greyhound racing? Quite possibly. Put on your best track pants and your footy scarf and join us for one night only in Melbourne, where the Chat will definitely be 10, the Looks might extend to 3.5 because it's a fancy occasion, and the laughs will be turned up to 11!

It’s nearly a decade since Leigh Sales and Adelaide home-town gal Annabel Crabb started their hit podcast Chat 10 Looks 3. And for that entire time, Crabb has been trying to get Sales to move to Adelaide. Sales, for her part, is tempted by the allure of the Central Market and that little Japanese shop nearby that sells the tiny, tiny bowls she loves so much.
Brace yourselves Sydney, the Chat 10 juggernaut is rolling into town again. This time, we are sparing no expense and flying in our first-ever international guest: the adorable Kirk Hamilton, Chat 10 favourite and the host of the beloved Strong Songs.
Brace yourselves Sydney, the Chat 10 juggernaut is rolling into town again. This time, we are sparing no expense and flying in our first-ever international guest: the adorable Kirk Hamilton, Chat 10 favourite and the host of the beloved Strong Songs. Will Crabb ask him to analyse the work of her favourite band Coldplay? Will this cause Sales to crack Crabb over the head with her cello? The only thing we know is that it will be 90 minutes of the usual mayhem.
It's on Zoom on Tuesday, June 6, at 8pm AEST
Our book is The Albatross by Nina Wan, who’ll be interviewed by Lisa Millar. Crabb and Sales will be along too to provide ‘helpful’ comments and take questions from Chatters.
PLUS your ticket registration means you can also enter the draw for a fab competition to win an actual THERMOMIX!
Heads up banana benders! Leigh Sales is coming home to Brisbane for a visit and bringing her QLD-curious friend Annabel Crabb. Freshly liberated from the rigours of nightly TV, Sales has had more time of late to read, watch, and cook, and thus is chock-full of opinions with which to fatigue Crabb. And you – should you fancy joining them for the evening.
Canberra! The harried pair of middle-aged Mums behind the Chat 10 Looks 3 podcast are heading your way in December for what has in recent years become a comedically ridiculous Yuletide battle against adverse travel circumstances.

It’s Crabb with the home ground advantage on Chat 10 Looks 3’s return to Adelaide for the first time in three years, so strap yourselves in for a third of a show about goose eggs (or was it duck eggs?)* Unlike your new Premier, we can’t promise rock solid abs, but what we lack in well-developed pecs, we promise to make up in sparkling repartee and general tomfoolery.
It’s Hamer time again! After several years of confusion and postponement to a degree that outstrips even the regular Chat 10 Looks 3 standard of shambolia, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb are dragging their unrepentant frames to Melbourne’s Hamer Hall for a night out with friends.
Hot off the back of their Perth show on Saturday night, Crabb and Sales will be hitting the road south in a panno with some surfboards on the roof, with four (possibly five) kids in tow, in time for a live show in Albany the next day. Don’t be ridiculous, of course nothing could possibly go awry, they WILL make it in time to take the stage. Also, they’re not really driving in a panno with surfboards,
Crabb and Sales have their visas, their yellow fever vaccinations and their Mark McGowan is My Daddy caps and so they are ready to enter The People’s Republic of Western Australia for their first Chat 10 Looks 3 show in Perth in four long years! This time, they’re bringing their families for a Griswolds style holiday in WA, so what could possibly go wrong? Liberal voters – all three of you remaining in Perth – are of course welcome to attend. Books! Movies! TV! Hopefully not a Crabb monologue about eggs! Hopefully not Sales giving a music theory lesson!* Join us for one show only in Perth on Saturday September 24.
Freedom Freedom Freedom! Liberated from the pressure of democratic events, the nightly demands of 7.30 and the depredations of nobody’s favourite pandemic, Crabb and Sales are staging a Freedom Ride to Brisbane.
Freedom Freedom Freedom! Liberated from the pressure of democratic events, the nightly demands of 7:30 and the depredations of nobody’s favourite pandemic, Crabb and Sales are staging a Freedom Ride to Brisbane. The shambolic pair, hosts of hit podcast Chat 10 Looks 3, will return to QPAC for one night only to talk books, films, music, cooking and any sundry digression that comes to mind (which in some instances, including Annabel Crabb’s memorable 20-minute monologue on interesting things to do with duck eggs at a past show, can be quite random indeed).
Let's try this again... last year Chat 10 Looks 3 podcasters Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales came up with a quirky plan for their double-header shows at the Enmore: Friday night would be The Show That Sales Arranged, and Saturday night The Show That Crabb Arranged. But then everything got shuttered by lockdown and it didn't happen.
Still, never ones to waste a daft idea, Crabb and Sales are giving it another crack in 2022! Join them as they finally return to the Enmore for two evenings of their usual live show carry-on but with a twist: neither host knows what the other is planning for their night.
It’s Hamer Time again!
After several years of confusion and postponement to a degree that outstrips even the regular Chat 10 Looks 3 standard of shambolia, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb are dragging their unrepentant frames to Melbourne for a night out with friends.
The pair podcasted religiously (OK, irreligiously) throughout the pandemic and now are keen to catch up in person, to talk about the books they’re reading, the shows they’re bingeing, recent kitchen disasters, and famous people in front of whom they’ve said something stupid.
They may discuss Well Hello – the book they published together last year – but there is absolutely no requirement to read it – Chat 10 is NOT that kind of book club.
Come for the conversation and the company! Chat 10 Looks 3 fans are a famously friendly and convivial bunch, and with Leigh Sales in charge you absolutely know you’ll be done by 9pm.

The Canberra show is sold out - but we've hit on a brilliant plan to include Chatters everywhere. You can join us live online! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through Bettercast here: https://chat-10-looks-3-live.bettercast.io/
In December 2019, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb appeared in their traditional Christmas end-of-year Canberra Chat 10 Looks 3 show in a theatre that smelled distinctly of smoke.
