Approximately sixty-five thousand polite explanations of this ridiculous name later, they have come to regret the impulse. But Leigh Sales bows to no one – NO ONE! – in her love of musical theatre, live performance and shimmying-about-on-stage, and Annabel Crabb bows to no-one in her creative pursuit of reasons to visit her home town.

It’s nearly a decade since Leigh Sales and Adelaide home-town gal Annabel Crabb started their hit podcast Chat 10 Looks 3. And for that entire time, Crabb has been trying to get Sales to move to Adelaide. Sales, for her part, is tempted by the allure of the Central Market and that little Japanese shop nearby that sells the tiny, tiny bowls she loves so much.

Brace yourselves Sydney, the Chat 10 juggernaut is rolling into town again. This time, we are sparing no expense and flying in our first-ever international guest: the adorable Kirk Hamilton, Chat 10 favourite and the host of the beloved Strong Songs.

It’s Crabb with the home ground advantage on Chat 10 Looks 3’s return to Adelaide for the first time in three years, so strap yourselves in for a third of a show about goose eggs (or was it duck eggs?)* Unlike your new Premier, we can’t promise rock solid abs, but what we lack in well-developed pecs, we promise to make up in sparkling repartee and general tomfoolery.

It’s Hamer time again! After several years of confusion and postponement to a degree that outstrips even the regular Chat 10 Looks 3 standard of shambolia, Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb are dragging their unrepentant frames to Melbourne’s Hamer Hall for a night out with friends.⁠

Hot off the back of their Perth show on Saturday night, Crabb and Sales will be hitting the road south in a panno with some surfboards on the roof, with four (possibly five) kids in tow, in time for a live show in Albany the next day. Don’t be ridiculous, of course nothing could possibly go awry, they WILL make it in time to take the stage. Also, they’re not really driving in a panno with surfboards,

Crabb and Sales have their visas, their yellow fever vaccinations and their Mark McGowan is My Daddy caps and so they are ready to enter The People’s Republic of Western Australia for their first Chat 10 Looks 3 show in Perth in four long years! This time, they’re bringing their families for a Griswolds style holiday in WA, so what could possibly go wrong? Liberal voters – all three of you remaining in Perth – are of course welcome to attend. Books! Movies! TV! Hopefully not a Crabb monologue about eggs! Liberated from the pressure of democratic events, the nightly demands of 7:30 and the depredations of nobody’s favourite pandemic, Crabb and Sales are staging a Freedom Ride to Brisbane. The shambolic pair, hosts of hit podcast Chat 10 Looks 3, will return to QPAC for one night only to talk books, films, music, cooking and any sundry digression that comes to mind (which in some instances, including Annabel Crabb’s memorable 20-minute monologue on interesting things to do with duck eggs at a past show, can be quite random indeed).

It’s Hamer Time again!

The pair podcasted religiously (OK, irreligiously) throughout the pandemic and now are keen to catch up in person, to talk about the books they’re reading, the shows they’re bingeing, recent kitchen disasters, and famous people in front of whom they’ve said something stupid.

They may discuss Well Hello – the book they published together last year – but there is absolutely no requirement to read it – Chat 10 is NOT that kind of book club.
